Cake with pears and burnt sugar

1. For the cream, melt the sugar. Caramelize evenly so that no crystals remain on the edges.

2. After it has melted, set it aside and beat the eggs in a bowl with the sugar and warm milk. Pour over the caramelized sugar and stir constantly.

3. For the countertop, separate the eggs. Whisk the egg whites with the powdered sugar, add the egg yolks rubbed with a pinch of salt, melted butter and sifted flour. Pour into a special form and spread on the edges.

4. Then pour the burnt sugar cream composition and place in the oven at 140 ° C.

5. Meanwhile, clean the pears, sprinkle with the liqueur, lemon juice and peel, vanilla essence and boil in a steam bath. Cool and add to the sugar cream before it forms a crust. After they have been in the oven long enough, remove the tray and cool. Serve garnished with mint.

The story of this cake begins with the stripping of pears :). Of these, two are cut into cubes and the other three are left whole and cleaned of seeds. In order not to be too cold, we sprinkle the pears with lemon juice and cover them with the sugar blanket, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Mix them well and let them rest.

Now, in the warm light of the autumn sun, it was the turn of the three eggs to mix with the sugar, vanilla and lemon peel.

Do you think that the nut can stand aside when it sees such a sweet party? Seeing her impatient, I ground her well with her sisters (almonds and hazelnuts) and turned her well in the bowl.

Buuun! Now we have to prepare the tray. I used a round tray with a detachable bottom. Because we have a soft composition and we don't want it to drip in the oven, we make a baking paper skirt. This is done as follows: cut a square of paper, fold it in half, then again in two and again in two, until we get a triangle. We cut in the shape of a semicircle, we also open it.

The moment follows when the jam enters the scene and fills the pears gloriously.

In order not to miss the jam, cover the pears with a thin slice (also of pear.) Then place them nicely in the tray.

Pour the composition over the pears, let it soak for a minute in the sun and gain courage and then. in the oven with the cake (190 degrees, 40-50 minutes).

Until the cake is tanned, put the caramelized sugar (preferably in a deeper bowl because the milk will swell into feathers).

When all the sugar has melted (be careful not to burn too hard because it will be bitter) put the bowl aside on the fire and add the milk. Put again on low heat and mix until the caramelized sugar dissolves. Then let it thicken.

We take the cake out of the oven and play with it: caramel, powdered sugar, nuts.

Cake with cottage cheese and pears & # 8211 one of the easiest cake recipes

The cake with cottage cheese and pears is very easy to prepare. This is one of the simplest recipes I know. I recommend you try it too!

Dough ingredients:

  • 600 gr wheat flour, 200 gr powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs, 250 gr butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 sachet of baking powder

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 1 kg pear, 500 gr cow case
  • Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar, 2 sachets of vanilla pudding
  • 200 gr sugar, ground cinnamon (to taste)

Method of preparation:

We prepare the dough. Add in a bowl, flour, powdered sugar, salt and baking powder. Mix the ingredients with a spoon. Then add 2 eggs and melted butter. Mix and make a fine, semi-soft dough. Leave the dough aside for 15-20 minutes.Meanwhile, prepare the filling. We clean the pears and cut them into smaller pieces. If the pears are not sweet enough, we can sprinkle a little sugar on them. Mix the cottage cheese with the sugar, grated lemon peel and pudding.

Put the dough on the work surface sprinkled with flour and divide it in two, a smaller piece and a larger one.

Spread the larger piece of dough in a rectangular tray (35 & # 21525 cm), lined with baking paper, so as to cover the inner edges. Prick the dough with a fork.Spread the cream cheese evenly over the dough in the pan and then place the pear slices. Sprinkle cinnamon and vanilla sugar over them. Cover the filling with the remaining dough. We prick it with a fork and grease it with a little milk. Put the tray in the preheated oven at 180 degrees and bake the cake for about 35-40 minutes. After the cake is baked, grease it with a little butter, then let it cool completely. Good appetite and increase cooking!

Pear cake

It is the ideal cake to accompany your coffee. It is not at all sweet and it is crumbly (the crust on top is crispy and you can feel the pieces of hazelnuts in contrast to the pieces of soft and fragrant pears inside). I felt like in a Parisian cafe yesterday with all that intense smell of butter and coffee. And the music "Cafe de Paris" on sky.fm went to my heart. Who says you can't be in two places at the same time?
